A very Happy Birthday to Glenn Cole, Director of Operations at Midwest Ale Works and owner of Cat's Cradle Artisanal Brewing!

He's off living his best life down by St. Louis with family & friends and of course some beer!

He wasn't too busy to talk with me regarding the important QC Beer news of the week with our What's Tappening Segment.

Midwest Ale Works is looking for people to shave their head on July 26th to raise funds for pediatric cancer. The Brantley Francis Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with a mission to positively influence pediatric cancer patients and their families.

You can donate your hair or pledge a certain amount of money for each person that gets a buzz cut on July 26th. Revival Mane will be on hand to make sure you come out looking spectacular. So get your co-workers, family, friends, enemies, whoever...together for a great cause on the last Sunday of this month.

We also celebrate the opening of Stompbox Brewing located at 210 East River Drive who is now serving up some of their house brews from their new renovated space. They've got a cozy interior or they have a sweet patio area if you want to social distance a little bit more. Hoppy Wheat is one of the big flavors they bring to the QC beer scene so follow them on Facebook and Instagram to see what's up!

And we congratulate Radical Effect on 8 years in the Quad Cities! Congrats guys!  And continued success!
