Hang With Goose And Have A Few Drinks At Happy Hour on the Commons

The TaxSlayer Center has announced a fun little shindig this Friday night that has free admission, and Goose will be there partying his butt off!

Just next door to the TaxSlayer, on the Commons, Happy Hour on the Commons will have live music, drinks, kids activities and games, prizes, burgers and dogs, as well as food trucks.

It's a fun, family-friendly event.

Music will be bumping from Funktastic 5 with all your funk and R&B favorites. This is a tight group who has been together since 2003.

It's perfect timing - Friday night, you get off work, and head to the Commons from 4:30-6:30pm.

It works out perfectly that this event ends at 6:30pm, because it gives you just enough time to walk next door and find your seat to watch the final regular-season game for the Quad City Steamwheelers.

The Steamwheelers are taking on the Iowa Barnstormers (based out of Des Moines).

Right now, the Quad City Steamwheelers are running a 8-7 overall record for the season.

The team is locked in a 1-1 record against the Barnstormers, so both teams will be looking to stomp the other team out.
