Florida Woman Assaults Man With SpaghettiOs Can

A Florida Woman was arrested after a domestic dispute turned to violence.

According to the affidavit, the victim told police he and his girlfriend, Shadae Miranda, had just "arrived home from the hospital," when they began arguing. The couple were sharing a room at a Travel Inn motel in Fort Pierce.

The details of the argument were redacted, but the man said he tried to deescalate the situation by going out to the patio. He grabbed his things and had a seat in a lawn chair.

Miranda was still upset, so she did what any rational human would do: Throw a can of SpaghettiOs into a grocery bag and start swinging it at him.

When officers arrived, the victim had a large laceration on the top of his head from the can. Miranda said the man had hit her in the arm, but the deputy reported “no signs of injuries, cuts, or bruises consistent with her side of the story.”

Miranda was charged with aggravated battery, a felony. She was released on bond from St. Lucie County Jail late Sunday evening.
