Two teenagers and an uncle of one of them helped rescue two families who were left stranded in the waters off the Florida Keys.

17-year-old Mason Baker and 18-year-old Will Coffin, along with Coffin's uncle Dave Tolhurst, saw a 23-foot boat that had capsized near Conch Reef. Clinging to the vessel were four adults and a 4-year-old, one of the women had a three and a half month-old infant strapped to her.

The trio radioed the Coast Guard for help before heading out to the accident. They pulled the families aboard with them and the captain of the boat decided to stay with his ship until the Coast Guard arrived.

Three coolers of food were recovered and everyone was checked out by medics, no injuries were reported.
