Florida Man Tells Police He Was Speeding Because He Wanted A Pepsi
A Florida man was pulled over for speeding last Monday, and deputies said he told them he was thirsty and being chased.
According to a Sheriff's Office report, Matthew Anzaldi was driving recklessly, going 80 mph and passing cars on the shoulder of U.S. 1. He said he was "thirsty" and wanted a "Pepsi." Anzaldi also said he thought someone was chasing him and that he heard "bullets hitting his vehicle."
The deputy noted that Anzaldi showed no signs of being impaired, and he was arrested and booked into the Indian River County Jail for reckless driving.
