This guy googled "how to rob a bank" when he should have searched for "how to rob a bank and get away with it".

We live in a world now where if you have a task to do and you don't know how to do it, you can just google it. I suppose that extends to crime as well.

26-year-old William Joe Johnson of Pinellas Park, Florida went robbed an Achieva Credit Union last Thursday morning. The teller told deputies that the man implied he had a gun and made off with some cash.

Authorities caught up to Johnson Monday night after identifying him as a suspect. He admitted to googling "how to rob a bank" before actually robbing the bank because he needed the money.

He planned on robbing a different location but changed his mind when he saw the teller was a "large male". He spent his stolen money on rent, bills, and drugs.
