After demanding multiple times that a gardener not touch his property, a Florida Man was arrested for punching his neighbor.

The Lake County Sheriff's Office says they were called to the home of Thomas Conrad on Saturday afternoon after an issue with a gardener who was cutting grass outside of his home in Sorrento, about 30 miles from Orlando.

Conrad's neighbor, 46-year-old Jack Henson, told officers that his lawn care professional was "being yelled at by Conrad for being on his property while cutting the grass.”

After Henson asked Conrad to leave them alone time after time, he said Conrad told him “I should punch you.”

Henson says he then told Conrad, “Go ahead, but I wouldn’t advise or police will get called.”

Cops say it was then that the 90-year-old punched the 46-year-old in the face, twice.

When officers arrived at the residence, which The Smoking Gun reports as a 3288-square-foot, $770,000 home in a gated community, his 89-year-old wife answered the door. She told the officers Conrad was resting, and didn't want to be disturbed.

After the wife convinced Conrad to talk to the cops, he told them he did, in fact, punch the neighbor in the face, but said he didn't think it was a bad thing.

The report reads that Conrad told deputies that Henson “told him to punch him in the face and at that time he punched him twice on the left side of his face.”

As he explained, the deputies asked him, "If someone was to ask you to shoot them would you do it?” Conrad reportedly responded "Then I would have shot him."

Officers told Conrad they were going to arrest him for the battery he had committed, but he wasn't okay with that.

“Get the f*ck out of my house," Conrad said as he tried to walk away.

As deputies tried to place handcuffs on the retiree, he reportedly balled up his fist and wouldn't put his hands behind his back.

He was taken in, and charged with battery and resisting police, both misdemeanors. He went home after posting his $2,000 bond.
