Billy Joel Wrote One Of Garth Brooks' Biggest Songs
Through discussion of Jeremy by Pearl Jam and songwriting styles, Billy Joel's writing style came up. It turns out, Billy Joel wrote and recorded a song, but didn't feel like he performed the song as well as it could've been.
Two years later, the song was redone by Garth Brooks, who made it his 7th #1 Billboard hit on the country charts.
The Beer That Got Dwyer Crunk, Then Feeling Like Dogwater
Dwyer's wife brought him a beer from Trader Joe's yesterday and he enjoyed it so much, he drank all of them, but he's feeling the effects this morning.
Former River Bandit To Be Inducted into Hall of Fame
Dwyer apparently has a superpower that any baseball players he talks to get inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. First it was Kirby Puckett, and now, former River Bandit and Twins legend Joe Mauer will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Listener Amanda Saw The Delta Boeing 757 Tire Roll Away
Yesterday, a Delta Boeing 737 flight waiting to depart from Atlanta had to wait after one of its nose tires rolled away. Listener Amanda was on a flight also waiting to depart, and she saw the whole thing happen.

Dwyer's Shirt Scam
One of Dwyer's favorite touring bands, The Comancheros, was sharing news about their new tour, and Dwyer - most likely intoxicated - bought a shirt off of a link in the comment section.

Notice it says "Heppy New Year", the color scheme is not heavy or western like The Comancheros are.
By the way, The Comancheros will be at Rascal's Live in Moline on February 23rd, and you should go see them. Here's a video from when they played in our studio.
