Is Lainey's Story True?
We know a lot of radio guys, and almost all of them are too nice to say anything as rude as what Lainey Wilson is claiming a DJ told her when he heard her first big single, so this is hard for us to believe, but it very well could've happened in the country music business.
Iowa Lawyer's Monkey Torture Addiction
An Iowa Lawyer is in hot hot water after it was uncovered that not only was he providing drugs but also administrating a group of weirdos who would get together and watch videos of monkey torture - some of which would last hours.
He facilitated this by having some kids overseas in the Philipines do these "Monkey Crush" videos. The biggest complaints from his clients were if the monkeys died too quickly.
"They suggested dressing baby monkeys in diapers and yellow outfits, then feeding them with bottles in front of their parents—before brutally breaking bones, severing limbs, inflicting pain with fishhooks and pliers and skewers, burning wounds with lighters, gluing various bodily orifices closed, attacking them with snakes, and sexually abusing them," arstechnica reports.
In 2017, the Des Moines, Iowa, lawyer Philip Colt Moss was facing felony drug charges after a raid on his townhome turned up marijuana, hash, OxyContin, Klonopin, Xanax, zolpidem (the active ingredient in Ambien), and "four pills that contained methylphenidate" (the active ingredient in Ritalin), according to arstechnica, it was from this that his other interests came uncovered.
Bubbleologists
Michaels' old friend is a "Bubbleologist" which means he gets paid to do stuff like this:
One of these guys, known as the Bubble Pirate near San Diego got in trouble for doing a free show in San Diego for "Liquid Littering," which resulted in a citation.
Check out the citation:
This is the type of stuff "The Bubble Pirate" can do.
