Speed Cameras
The photo speed enforcement van is back out on the roads in Davenport. Luckily enough, we know where they'll be this week:
- Monday : 3100 Harrison St -- 5700 Northwest Blvd -- 1900 Brady St

Doppler Radar Vandalized
Earlier this week, a guy belonging to an anti-government militia called "Veterans on Patrol" went to a doppler radar site and damaged it to the point of being disabled because they're used to control the weather.
The guy, Michael Lewis Arthur Meyer, who is also the founder of the group, was the one who did the damage. He was quoted in a WaPo article telling about how he was going to damage the sites back in May.
"They can embed their technology and civilian infrastructure in every home and every household utilizing the phones and their network towers to not only control the weather, modify the weather, but they can target individuals,” Meyer said in the article.
Drunk Golfer vs Former NHL Player
One of the last guys you want to fight would be a former NHL player, and the proof is right in this video of an incident on a golf course between a drunk golfer and ex-NHL enforcer Nick Tarnasky, who was known for attempted murder of anybody wearing a different sweater than him.
The drunk guys (pictured horizontally above) were just wasting time on a green and according to Tarnasky in the video, were there for like 20 minutes.
When you're getting your ass beat so bad that the guy beating your ass is adding his own sound effects, you know you messed up.

The next year of the NBA 2K video game announced their covers yesterday, and for the WNBA edition, they've selected the WNBA's best player: Angel Reese.
Police Officer Injured
A police officer in California who sustained a career-ending head injury was so injured that she couldn't even attend Zoom meetings to check up on her because of how much it would bring her pain.
Now, after they've found video of her at a music festival, snowboarding, ran two 5ks, skiing, watching a soccer game, evidence of her getting a masters degree, and more while her medical expenses were paid and she received $600,000 of tax-free income.
Loess Hills
The band, Loess Hills, stopped by this morning to talk about shooting a music video with Megan and their halftime performance at the Steamwheelers game this weekend.
