
Drug Dealer Nailed In The Head With Drugs He Just Sold When Cops Show Up
A tip off to police ended up with a bust of two pounds of cocaine, some illegal firearms and $10,000 in cash.
Deputies with the Volusia County Sheriff's Office say they showed up to a home at 939 Madison Avenue around 8:45am to answer the tip, and rolled up to an active drug deal in front of the property.
The customer, who was identified as 53-year-old Charlie Damon, saw the cops roll up on the car he was sititing in, and threw the bags of cocaine at the drug dealer, 47-year-old Bobby Johnson, in a great try at getting the return for his purchase.
Another suspect, 27-year-old Kelson Ammanuel Kelson, ran out of the back of the house, but police caught up to him and grabbed him a few houses away.
Detectives say they later recovered 831 grams of cocaine, weapons from the house and a storage unit. One firearm was for sure stolen, and another had the serial number removed.
The charges filed against all the guys are:
- Trafficking in cocaine (28–200 grams)
- Trafficking in hydrocodone (28–50 grams)
- Using or renting a structure or vehicle with knowledge it’s used for selling drugs
- Possession of cannabis over 20 grams
- Trafficking in heroin (4 grams to less than 30 kilograms)
- Obstruction of an officer without violence
- Manufacture of cocaine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription
