Drained West Lake As Viewed By Drone

As we told you a month ago, the Iowa DNR has been in the process of draining West Lake.

Now that the lake is noticeably lower the reports have been coming in at what they're finding in the process.... tires. Lots and lots of tires.

Well, our buddy over at QC Drone decided to take a flight over the almost empty 65-acre lake and get a look at what else we can see from the sky. It's pretty crazy to see it like this.

We talked to Roger the park manager and DNR officer last month. Here's what he had to say about it.
