Do You Enjoy Running in Cold Weather? 4-Mile B-rrry Scurry is Saturday
The winter months can bring slippery sidewalks, icy patches, and some seriously low temperatures. But if you love running, then you’re probably not going to let the cold weather stop you from getting your miles in! If you exercise in the winter, it’s critical to stay safe so that you don’t get injured and miss out on your workouts all together. Be sure to keep yourself safe while running in the winter and find the proper attire, shoes, and equipment that will help you keep fit no matter what Mother Nature throws at you!
Runners are a different breed. They'll run when it's hot. They'll run when it rains. They'll even run in the snow.
That's why, I guess, they invented the B-rrry Scurry!
Clinton Community College will host the 41st Annual B-rrry Scurry 4-Mile Run on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Runners and walkers love the B-rrry Scurry race day atmosphere! The route is flat and fast with chip timing and instant results.
The B-rrry Scurry begins at Noon at the college, 1000 Lincoln Blvd., Clinton. Runners and walkers are invited to participate. No pets or strollers are allowed on the race course. Packet pickup has changed due to the CDC Guidelines which prevent large gatherings in Clinton Community College. Drive Thru Packet Pickup is Wednesday and Thursday, February 2 and 3, from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m., and Friday, February 4 from Noon – 2 p.m. There will be limited Saturday packet pickup by appointment at 10:00 a.m. There is NO raceday registration in 2022.
I don't know if there is an "official" after party, but Hook's Pub & Grill in Clinton is hosting one with food & drink specials, giveaways and prizes too!
