Divorced Canadian Couple Finally Ended Their Two-Year Custody Battle Over Hockey Tickets
This is pretty much peak Canada right here. A couple named Beverly and Donald McLeod from Edmonton, Alberta split up in 2015 after 35 years of marriage.
They've been battling in court ever since for custody of their NHL season tickets to the Edmonton Oilers.
Oilers season tickets are hard to get, so it wasn't like one of them could just get their own set. Donald said he was cool with paying Beverly $15,000-a-month in alimony, but he wasn't giving up the tickets too.
Well, they've finally agreed that they'll alternate picking which games they want to go to every season, with Donald getting the first pick.
