Deputy Takes Down Suspect By Throwing Cans of Baked Beans
A sheriff's deputy in Bay County, Florida proved just how resourceful he is when it comes to subduing armed suspects.
A man with a hammer was threatening people inside of a grocery store and allegedly attacked three officers that responded. Major Jimmy Sanford found an alternative to using deadly force: two cans of Bush's baked beans.
Surveillance footage shops the sheriff's deputy chucking cans at the suspect and beaning him in the head. 25-year-old Justin Tyler Stanford was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon on an officer and other offenses.
