Davenport’s Truck-Eating Bridge Enjoys An Early Christmas Dinner

Early this morning an Enterprise Rental Truck made the unfortunate trip up Highway 61 and met The Brady Street Bridge Monster at 5th Street.

At just under 12 feet high, the Brady street overpass (And it's next-door neighbor on Harrison St.) catches unaware about 5 trucks annually, despite signs alerting the low clearance as far as 30 miles away.

The driver of the truck was unavailable for comment when these photos were taken.  The truck was filled with Amazon and other shipping boxes.
