School Bus vs. Semi Accident In Davenport Monday Morning

Monday morning, around 8:40am, Scott County Sheriff and other emergency services were dispatched to the intersection of 110th and 130th Streets in Davenport for a collision between a Davenport Community School District school bus and a semi.

No serious injuries have been reported, but nine children were passengers on the bus at the time of the crash, according to authorities. Some of those involved in the collision were taken to the hospital by ambulance as a precautionary measure.

The semi could be seen on its side in the ditch off of 110th street, while the bus with front-end damage was blocking the roadway.

Nearly a dozen emergency vehicles were on the scene.
