Courtside NBA Fan Causes Delay In Game When He Throws Up On Court
One fan created a memory for everyone in the arena (except probably himself) during the Sacramento Kings vs. Utah Jazz game on Saturday night.
The fan, who was sitting courtside and undoubtably enjoying the action and drinks, suddenly became sick and threw up on himself and the court during the fourth quarter.
Because of the biohazard and slick surface, officials had to delay the game for about 20 minutes. The pukage happened right next to the the visiting Utah Jazz's bench.
The Sacramento Kings mascot, Slamson the Lion, came down to assist stadium employees.
“I actually made eye contact with him,” Rudy Gobert told The Salt Lake Tribune. “He was smiling. He was smiling and throwing up at the same time.”
The game's vomit delay came as the Jazz on a 12-2 run to start the final period and were leading 96-82.
“That was a strange situation,” Utah coach Quin Snyder said. “We had gone on a pretty good run before that happened. We did a good job of keeping or concentration throughout.”
Despite the puke puddle on the court, delay, and probably some paranoid players, the Utah Jazz beat the Kings 123-105.
