Mudvayne started in Peoria in 1996 with Chad Gray on vocals, Greg Tribbett on guitars, Matthew McDonough on drums, and originally Shawn Barclay on bass.  Shawn would be replaced by Ryan Martinie in 1997 while the band was recording their EP.

It was in 2000 that Mudvayne's debut album "L.D. 50" would hit with the award-winning "Dig" and the "Brbr Deng" would be born.

After 9 years and 5 albums, the band would go on a hiatus for over a decade.  On April 19, 2021, the band announced they were reunited and rumors of new Mudvayne music continue to keep us all Brbr Denging.

Coal Chamber got their start back in 1993 and much like Mudvayne took a break for nearly a decade, and then again for almost 6 years.

But now, the band is back together with original members Dez Faara on vocals and Miguel Rascon on guitars.  Nearly original member Mike Cox on drums who has been with the band since 1994.  And Nadja Peulen on bass who has been on and off with Coal Chamber since 1999.
