City Officials in Oklahoma Use Shotguns to Remove Ice From Water Tower

City officials in Maud, Oklahoma were faced with a serious problem over the weekend. Cold weather and a leak had cause ice to build up on their water tower.

How would one go about removing the buildup? Maybe pull out a ladder and some sort of deicing agent? Nope, a 12-gauge shotgun will work just fine.

"We took a few shots and tried to knock the ice off. Didn't work very well," Maud City Clerk Don Zeller said.
