Many expecting parents are starting to do the math and they're all coming up with the same conclusion: they got knocked up November 2nd, Game 7 of the World Series.

Chicago area hospitals have noticed a spike in the number of births this month, leading up to nine months after the Cubs' World Series victory. Baby conceived during the playoffs will have due dates between July and August.

I suppose if you're going to celebrate ending a 108-year-long drought, getting on and having a baby is a pretty good way to do it.

The amount of deliveries doubled this past week in Chicago hospitals and they expect the trend to stay for a few weeks.

"Whether it's the natural ebb and flow of labor and delivery or the Cubs celebration?" Dr. Melissa Dennis said. "We can leave that up to the imagination."
