Camera Captures Footage of Bobcat in Quad City Area

Where we're situated in the United States, we don't ever have to really worry about predatory animals like wolves, bears, or mountain lions. Sure we might see a coyote every now and again, but this sighting is a little more rare.

Jim Long was going over footage from his trail cameras in Whiteside County when he saw something he didn't expect. A bobcat wandered into the shot one night and hung around for a bit.

“I've heard stories of them being in the area, but never met anyone who actually saw one,” Jim said to KWQC. “I'm hoping it will come back during the day so I can get a color video.”
