This year marks 64 years of the Whopper with a two-day throwback price.

Today (Friday, December 3rd) and December 4th, participating restaurants nationwide will offer the iconic flame-grilled burgers for the original price of 37 cents.

“In 1957, Burger King changed the game with the introduction of the Whopper sandwich,” Zahra Nurani, head of marketing communications for Burger King North America, said in a statement.

To redeem the birthday bash deal, you have to be a member of the new Burger King Royal Perks loyalty program. Account registration is required, and it's a limit of one per account.

You'll have to download the app and add the coupon to your account.

Typically, the burger runs about $4.

The deal comes less than a week after Burger King announced that they'll be cutting some menu items to help speed up their drive-thru times.

“Given the volume increases in the drive-thru, it’s a really easy win in terms of driving additional volume in our business,” Jose Cil, CEO of the chain’s parent company, Restaurant Brands International, said at a Tuesday conference. “We got too slow, and we need to address that.”
