Brews & Chews is What’s Tappening

Glenn Cole from Midwest Ale Works in East Moline has been busy and today he's got some brewer friends from the QC to do a taste test of new beers out this week.

Adam from Twin Span has an Australian Sparkling Ale called Wallaby & Platypus out tomorrow.

Cameron from Bent River has a blueberry marshmallow sour called Blueberry Marshmanilow arriving Thursday.

MAW has the Buzzcut on Sunday a prickly pear watermelon wheat in honor of the Brantley Fransis Foundation event to raise money for pediatric cancer this Sunday.

I asked if they had any rituals when they tap a new beer but Glenn said he just gets really into critiquing it and seeing if or how he can make it better.

July BREWS+CHEWS LIVE is Thursday – CraftQC.com has teamed up with Radicle Effect Brewerks and Streets of Italy for a Thirsty Thursday Pizza Night!! On Sunday come support the fundraiser for Brantley Francis Foundation at Midwest Ale Works as they are tapping Buzzcut Season, a Watermelon and Prickly Pear brew, and donating $1 from every pour sold. And you can donate by supporting someone getting their head shaved for the cause!
