I talked to Charlie Cole, head brewer at Blue Cat Brewing Co in Rock Island today. He was up in Minneapolis at the America's Largest Craft Brewing Industry Gathering..."Craft Brewers Conference."

They had a ton of new equipment to show off to the attendees along with some seminars featuring tips on brewing and of course samples brewed with new hops the vendors were excited about.

If you've ever been to a conference of any sort...whatever industry you're in...you know the best part is the "networking". Whether you've been doing business with people for years, been connected via social media or just meeting for the first time, the conference after party is where it's at.

Can you imagine what's happening at the after party for a nation wide brewers convention?

I tried to get an invite for next year, but alas, it's strictly for members of the Brewers Association.
