Blue Star Mothers of Iowa Care Package Drive

The holidays are always around the corner. Our Iowa Servicemen and women around the world will have to celebrate wherever they are, the best they can.

The Blue Star Mothers of Iowa are making it feel a little more like home by putting together care packages that they send to 100 deployed Iowa troops around the world.

They are just around three weeks away from assembling boxes, and here's how you can help: The boxes won't fill themselves, and items can get costly. Below you'll see a list of items they could use, and where you can send them. Money is always the right size. We know there's a lot of hands out this time of year.

We like to lend a hand to those hands that are keeping us safe in places unknown.
