Doing rock versions of Christmas songs are always a big gamble for an artist to take. You either nail it and it becomes the new favorite version of the song, or it becomes a laughable joke that ends up on the list of some radio website's ranking of bad covers.

4 Worst Rock Christmas Song Covers

4. "Jingle Balls",  Korn

This one's always a favorite for me, because of how much of a joke it is. Death metal and talking about sleigh bells mix pretty badly.

3. "Ave Maria",  Chris Cornell

A beautiful song, but the synthesized instruments take me out of it. Otherwise, Chris Cornell nails it.

2. "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus",  Twisted Sister

This sounds like it's pulled straight from a Kidz Bop Christmas album that's supposed to be cool for mom and dad too.

1. "Must Be Santa",  Bob Dylan

This one'll be stuck in your head all day. It's got accordions, a folksy sounding band, and Bob Dylan doing that Bob-Dylan-thing with his voice to a kids song.
