World Famous Tattoo Artist Hands Out Free Mystery Tats

Scott Campbell has inked some big-named clients including Courtney Love, Orlando Bloom, Marc Jacobs, Sting and Robert Downey Jr. Recently he's been handing out free tattoos... with a catch.

"The Whole Glory" is Scott's art gallery project that allows participants to get a free tattoo. The victims do not get to choose a design and they won't know what it is until the artist finishes.

Each canvas is chosen from a lottery, they then put their arm into a hole in the wall, and Scott goes to work.

“I bring all my sketch books, and then like to keep it as spontaneous as possible,” he told The Guardian. “Whatever subliminal clues you get just from touching someone’s arm – I can’t help but make up these stories in my head about who they are. How accurate that is, I don’t know.”
