Two Injured After 60 People Brawl At Wisconsin Bar Crawl
Two people were arrested and one was taken to get checked out at the hospital after a brawl broke out at Route 41 Bar & Grill in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.
The Oak Creek Police Department says they were called out to a report of a large fight with nearly 60 people.
As officers arrived, a motorcycle was seen speeding off from the scene. An officer gave chase, but called it off after the rider refused to stop. It's not known if the rider was involved, but we can assume a guy speeding off from a massive bar fight and running from the cops is probably at least a little involved.
When officers entered the bar, they found two 32-year-olds with minor injury, but after being checked out, both refused a trip to the hospital.
The one person taken to the hospital was a 23-year-old who had waaaay too much to drink.
According to the bar's Facebook page, quite a bit was happening at the bar on Sunday night - a celebration of life, along with live music, a 50/50 raffle, and a poker run.
The Oak Creek Police Department didn't say there were any arrests, or what led up to the fight, and the event is still under investigation.
Route 41 shared a Facebook post addressing the incident, thanking their staff who followed protocol and apologizing to their other customers who weren't involved with the incident.
