UPS flight 2976 crashed yesterday while departing for Honolulu from Louisville. Video showed the plane on fire as it lifted off the ground, crashing just moments later in a huge fireball.

The plane was carrying about 50,000 gallons of fuel, and crashed into a petroleum plant nearly 3 miles away, leaving a trail of wreckage along the way.

So far, 7 have died, including the 3-man crew on the plane, and 11 have been injured. A shelter-in-place was ordered for a five mile radius around the crash due to the heavy smoke and toxicity of the air. Over 100 emergency personnel were on scene last night, battling fires, looking for survivors, and trying to gain control of the situation.

Videos from all along the wreckage path have been shared, showing just how terrifying and devastating the crash was.

Perhaps one of the most terrifying videos comes from a semi driver who was doing paperwork, showing how quickly things went from calm and normal to a hellish firescape.

A recording of FlightAware shows the plane barely made it out of the airport when it crashed.

No official cause of the crash has been released, but the footage from the crew at the airport appeared to show one of the engines to be on fire as the plane lifted off of the ground.

A press conference is expected on Wednesday morning to update on recovery efforts.
