U.S. Navy Apologizes After Pilot Draws Giant Wiener in the Sky
An obscene skywriting appeared in the air over Okanogan County, Washington and U.S. Navy officials have admitted that an aircraft from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island was involved.
Multiple witnesses across the county saw a drawing of the giant male appendage in the sky and, of course, tweeted out photos of it. One mother was very upset that she may have to explain to her young children what the drawing was.
Navy officials released the following statement: "The Navy holds its aircrew to the highest standards and we find this absolutely unacceptable, of zero training value and we are holding the crew accountable."
