A Davenport restaurant is bringing a taste of Germany to downtown with a brand new popup Oktoberfest themed menu.

Tiphanie's (210 E 2nd St), has transformed the patio into a German theme, from the banners, to the food, to the beer steins, to the music.

It's happening now through October 11th, and the food as authentic as it gets.

Tiphanie tapped into her German heritage for these dishes - bringing Spätzle, Jägerschnitzel, and other staples to the table.

Food, beer, deserts, music. All German, all delicious.

Try some of the featured items:

Jägerschnitzel

It's about as German as it gets - a breaded pork cutlet fried with a savory mushroom and onion sauce.

Thinly sliced beef rolled up with mustard, onion, bacon, pickles, slow-braised with a rich gravy. It's a Bavarian classic, and it's delicious.

Desert

Mutliple options make up the desert menu, including Black Forest Cake, a fruit and cheese plate, and Apfelstrudel.

If you couldn't figure it out, Apfelstrudel is a German-style apple strudel - and it's really yummy.
