The Ghostbusters: Afterlife trailer was just released online, and shows a promising sequel to the beloved 80's comedy franchise featuring Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Harold Ramis crack squad of, well, Ghostbusters.

Introducing some new characters, the trailer shows Finn Wolfhard of Stranger Things, Fuller House's McKenna Grace, and Living with Yourself's Paul Rudd. The movie looks to be a nostalgia packed sequel surely to blow the attempted 2016 all female reboot out of the water.

Wolfhard and family moved to a middle of nowhere town after Grandpa (assumingely Harold Ramis) passed away, into his old house. The town is nowhere near a fault line, yet experiences tremors regularly. When one of the kids discovers a ghost trapper, she takes it to her teacher, Mr. Grooberson (Rudd) who identifies it immediately and begins showing the kids videos of the 80's Ghostbusters driving through New York.

  • Bill Murray as Dr. Peter Venkman
  • Annie Potz as Janine Melnitz
  • Sigourney Weaver as Dana Barrett
  • Dan Aykroyd as Dr. Raymond Stantz
  • Ernie Hudson as Dr. Winston Zeddmore

The move looks to surely be a kick ass close to the franchise, and I'll definitely have my butt in a seat when it hits theaters.
