The Best and Worst Fast Food Dipping Sauces From Fast Food Restaurants
A fast food chain is only as good as its dipping sauces.
A writer at Thrillist.com just ranked 18 major fast food chains solely on how their best dipping sauce compares to everyone else. See what you think.
The best dipping sauces are:
- Culver's Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese Sauce
- Chick-fil-A Sauce
- Raising Cane's Sauce
- McDonald's Honey Mustard
- Whataburger Spicy Ketchup
And the worst dipping sauces are:
- Carl's Jr. Sweet and Bold BBQ
- In-N-Out Burger Spread
- Burger King Ranch
- KFC Finger Lickin' Good Sauce
- White Castle Zesty Zing
- Long John Silver's Cocktail Sauce
To be fair, I haven't tried the Raising Can's Sauce yet. Every time I get over there to try it, I get distracted by Portillo's and pull to the left instead of to the right. So, one of these days I'm going to have to stop over and try it. I hear good things.
Culver's Cheddar Sauce is relatively new, from what I understand, and my wife swears by it. And any of the Chick-fil-A sauces are super good. I really like their Polynesian BBQ sauce, but the Chick-fil-A sauce is right up there at the top.
Also, McDonald's Honey Mustard is life. I'd straight up drink that stuff.
