Quad City SteamWheelers Set to Battle Green Bay Blizzard in Crucial Matchup

The Quad City SteamWheelers are gearing up for a pivotal clash against the Green Bay Blizzard this Saturday, June 22nd. The game is set to kick off at 7:05 PM at the Vibrant Arena at the MARK, and it's shaping up to be a thrilling evening packed with exciting events both on and off the field.

Special Night of Celebrations "Country Night"

Saturday’s game is not just another matchup; it’s Country Night by John Deere, a tribute to one of the region's most iconic companies. In celebration, John Deere employees will enjoy free admission to the game. This special night is also Alumni Night, a chance for fans to reconnect with former SteamWheeler players who will be in attendance, rekindling memories and adding a nostalgic touch to the evening.

Adding to the festivities, former Deckmate dancers will take the field for a special performance titled "Past, Present, And Future." This unique show will feature a mix of alumni dancers, current Deckmate dancers, and young dancers, coming together for a spectacular five-minute performance that promises to be a highlight of the evening.

Postgame Jersey Auction & Autograph Signing

After the game, fans will have the opportunity to participate in a postgame on-field autograph signing and jersey auction. This event allows attendees to bid on jerseys worn by their favorite SteamWheeler players, making for a memorable keepsake and a unique way to support the team.

Playoff Push

With only five games remaining in the season, and two of those being home games, the SteamWheelers are in a crucial phase of their campaign. Currently sitting in 4th place in their conference, the SteamWheelers are fighting to secure a spot in the playoffs. The top four teams from each conference will advance, making every game vital.

The challenge is formidable as they face the current first-place Green Bay Blizzard. A win against such a strong opponent would be a significant boost to their playoff aspirations. Fan support can make a real difference, and the SteamWheelers are calling on their supporters to pack the stands and provide the motivation needed to take down the Blizzard.
