South Dakota Man Arrested After Saving Beer From Burning Building

I can see why somebody would run back into a burning building to save another person or maybe even a pet, life is precious after all. And while beer is great, you shouldn't risk your life for a couple cold ones.

An apartment complex in Sioux Falls, South Dakota caught fire on Sunday. Luckily everyone survived, but two people were treated at the scene and one went to the hospital.

56-year-old Michael Casteel kept trying to run back into the building to save his beer. He told firefighters his reasoning and obviously they said no. Eventually he pushed past them and came out with two cans of Bud Ice Premium.

Unfortunately for Michael, he didn't get to enjoy it. He was immediately arrested for obstructing a firefighter or law enforcement official.

He's been arrested in the past for multiple DUIs and threatening a cop.
