The photo speed enforcement van is back out on the roads in Davenport. Luckily enough, we know where they'll be this week:

Downing Family Fundraiser
Brooks, the 2-year-old son of a Davenport Fire Fighter, was first diagnosed with cancer this past spring. Despite surgery and treatment, the cancer has since spread throughout his brain and spine.
Sadly, there is no cure. As his parents prepare for the unthinkable, they are also burdened with mounting medical
expenses.
There's a special event to raise funding to cover all the medical bills so they can focus on what really matters at this time.
It's a special golf outing at Iron Tee on October 25th from 11am to 3pm. 25% of proceeds from the event go to the Downings.
There's a longest drive contest, silent auctions, raffles, and closest to the pin competition. If you can't make the 25th, they're continuing the 25% deal from October 26th-November 9th, if you mention Downing Fundraiser.

A New Weather Term
There's a new weather term you're about to hear about, and you better learn it so you can repeat it to your insurance guy.
Fujiwhara Effect: A weather phenomenon that occurs when two tropical cyclones or other cyclones are close enough to interact, causing them to rotate around a common center and influencing their paths and intensity.
Kitten Scan
A new toy with a purpose, the Kitten Scan is a miniature CT scan, that gives kids the opportunity to see and understand what the CT is, how it works, and why they have to stay still.
Reese's Has Gone TOO Far!
In a new lawsuit against chocolate, the ridiculousness is at an all time high.
They sued over the Reese's Halloween products that show a jack-o-lantern face carved into the pumpkins, but when you open the packaging, there IS NO jack-o-lantern face.
The footballs didn't have stitching on them. The list goes on and on.
They used this video as part of their evidence in the lawsuit:
Hairball's Parents' Bathroom
Hairball and his dad have been sending photos of their dogs crapping to Hairball's mom for years, and she took those photos, turned them black & white, and framed them for the basement bathroom.
