RIP Vern, The Mayor Of Gaines Street
Yesterday, we received the news that Vern Carpenter, known as the Mayor of Gaines Street, has passed away.
For over a decade, he sat on the porch of his home on Gaines, waving at commuters. He will be missed.
A GoFundMe has been set up with the hopes of helping his family pay for funeral costs.
Palm Beach Pete
There's a guy who has gone viral for being the perfect doppelganger for Jeffrey Epstein, popping up around the internet every time he leaves the house. Plus, he drives a convertible, so that doesn't help him go unseen.
Dwyer's Book Recommendation
Dwyer stumbled across a book and can't wait to read it when it comes in the mail.
It's called Does It Fart?: The Definitive Field Guide to Animal Flatulence. It's Volume 1, so there's more to come.
Man Falls Into Sink Hole
A 500lb man was removed from a 15 foot sinkhole after falling through the ground.
They had to hoist him out with a crane.
