The Illowa Council of the Boy Scouts of America are looking for the public's help after a second trailer has been robbed in less than a week.

This morning, it was discovered that the council trailer that was parked at the Illowa Council office parking lot was broken into last night, and lawn equipment was stolen.

"The thieves stole our John Deere riding mower," a post from the council said "a snow plow attachment, our Lawn Boy AWD push mower, and new gas can."

Luckily, the trailer as a whole was locked down and wasn't as easy to steal.

"The only good news is that they tried to steal the whole trailer but the hitch lock, wheel lock and the chain from the axle locked around a bush successfully stopped them. It’s very sad and frustrating that someone would do such a thing."

3 days ago, Troop 103's trailer was stolen from its parking spot at the Davenport American Legion parking lot.

The council has requested if any information is known, to report it to the Davenport Police Department.

Robbing Boy Scouts is about as low as you can go.
