Sales For Cheap Beer May Be Way Up, But QC Brewery Sales Should Be Too
Americans are drinking significantly more than they did before the pandemic. You would think we're breaking the bank drinking so much, but new reports says otherwise.
According to the new analysis from inMarket, the cheap beers like Busch Light, Miller Lite, and Natty Light have the highest increases in sales.
Busch Light has seen a 44% increase, while companies like Miller, Michelob and Natural Light.
Overall alcohol sales have risen 55% since March 21st.
Craft breweries are still suffering a bit, so if you know of one that's open for carryout, stock up so we can go back after this is over. There's still quite a few open in the QC, here's a few for example:
Crawford Brew Works in Bettendorf:
Green Tree Brewery in LeClaire is another favorite, still open:
Front Street is still open, and so is their kitchen.
So, you've got some options and I know you've still got stimulus money left over. Go get some good beer. Drink local.
