Begin The Reading Challenge
The celebration will feature crafts, games, and activities centered on cats and dogs, giving families and readers of all ages a fun and interactive way to begin the winter reading season. The event is designed to encourage participation in the upcoming reading challenge while creating a welcoming space for the community to gather and enjoy hands-on activities.
Adoptable Pets In Attendance
King’s Harvest Pet Rescue will be in attendance with adoptable pets available for a meet-and-greet. Visitors will have the chance to learn more about the organization’s work and spend time with some of the animals they help, with adoptions scheduled to take place at a later date.
Sign Up For The Reading Challenge
Participants can also sign up for the Winter Reading Challenge during the event. Readers may choose between a Cat Log or a Dog Log to track their progress starting February 1. For those who prefer a digital option, reading can also be recorded using the Beanstack app or website.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation for King’s Harvest Pet Rescue. Anyone who donates will receive a bonus raffle entry for a chance to win one of four themed prize baskets.
