R.I.P. J.R.C.

Today in 2003 Johnny Cash died, less than 4 months after the death of his wife June.  Some say his broken heart was a bigger reason for his death than the complications from his diabetes .. but Johnny Cash has the rare honor of being inducted into at least 3 Halls of Fame - Rock & Roll, Nashville Songwriters, and Country ..  and he may be in the Gospel Hall of Fame as well.

He was J.R Cash for 18 years until he enlisted in the Air Force, then he began using the name "John".  And there's so much to his story, it can't begin to be summed up in one blog... but if you pick up the book "Man in Black", you just might not put it down until you've finished it.  Just sayin'...  So Today, Johnny Cash fans, I salute you.
