The future is looking brighter as news of the vaccine rollout seems to be coming sooner than expected.  The want/need to get out and about is growing stronger every day.

However, I think the QC Comic Book Con website said it best, "Be like Spider-Man, not like Superman when you come to the con...wear a mask".

The Quad Cities Comics Book Convention is coming to the Ramada Inn in Bettendorf this Saturday and admission is free!

According to their Facebook events page:

There will be comics ranging from this year to the mid 20th century and in price from under a buck to 100s of dollars. Plus things like toys and graphic novels.

Also if you have comics laying around...dealers are also buying.  I've got a few that I've held onto for a long time. A couple Avenger comics and a couple Fangora magazines that I'd love to see how much they're worth.  (I'm guessing ziltch)

It's always nice to shop in person for these types of things.  When you're buying collectables, it's sometimes hard to take someone's word for it as far as condition goes.  This way you get to hold it in your own hands before you give away your hard earned cash.

Speaking of which...a quick reminder that most vendors don't take credit cards...so bring some cash to avoid having to pay an ATM fee.
