Public pools across the country have been announcing they won't be opening this summer because of concerns surrounding COVID-19.

There's no stopping you from swimming in your backyard. People are buying pools left and right, from the $35 inflatable kiddie pools to $35,000 construction projects.

Even if you can't afford the big project, experts say sitting in a kiddie pool with a refreshment of your choice will bring you just about the same amount of a relaxed feeling.

According to the CDC, “Proper operation and disinfection of pools, hot tubs, and water playgrounds should kill the virus that causes COVID-19." So, you'll be fine with some nice chlorinated water this summer.

Buy a pool, if you can find one.
