Patriot Day Derby Challenge Coming To The Quad Cities

Join 97x and WQPT-TV at a unique Pinewood Derby Race where military veterans compete against local Scouts.

The Patriot Day Derby Challenge takes place on Saturday, February 15th at Western Illinois University.

This friendly competition is FREE to participate in. Any Scout, whether you're a Cub Scout, Girl Scout, or part of Scouts, BSA, or a Veteran, head to Western Illinois University.

Weigh in starts at 10am, and closes at 10:30am. The racing begins at 11am.

There will be games and activities for children to do while they’re not racing their cars or talking to veterans. Food and refreshments will be available, too.
