Iowa Kid is Going to the Super Bowl to Interview NFL Greats
I was 9 years old when the Chicago Bears won Super Bowl XX. Since I was at such an impressionable age I was relegated to being a Bears fan for the rest of my life and being let down season after season.
Yet every year, I would cheer them on (still do) with the hopes that a Super Bowl is in our future.
But to think that GOING to the Super Bowl would mean actually watching the game in person was a dream that this midwestern boy wouldn't even conceive of.
Super Bowl Giveaway
There was a contest happening with the trading card company, Panini. They had game cards in the packs and when you got one, you submitted a video.
Even though the possibility of winning was relatively low, that didn't deter over 135,000 entries from coming in.
Iowa Kid Wins Super Bowl Trip
A 5th grader named Miles from Des Moines, Iowa was the lucky winner of this contest. It turns out, he's a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan too and gets to see his team take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII.
Along with his family, Miles will get to rub elbows with NFL greats like Trent Dilfer and interview players from both the Chiefs and the Eagles. He also gets to hang out in the Panini Prizm VIP Lounge and attend the Merlin Olsen Pro Football Hall of Fame Luncheon.
And to top it all off, Miles gets to watch his beloved Chiefs in the Super Bowl, live and in person.
Congrats to Miles.
