OnlyFans ISN’T Banning Adult Content Now

OnlyFans made a surprising announcement today, saying that they won't be banning sexually explicit content now.

On Wednesday, the company said it "secured assurances necessary to support our diverse creator community." This would mean that whatever banking issues they were dealing with that prompted the October 1st ban on sexually explicit content have been resolved.

OnlyFans made the announcement via Twitter.

A spokesperson for the company declined comment on what bank they were able to form a deal with to pay out to the creators that host on the platform.

The ban on the content infuriated sex workers who rely solely on the platform for their income. Many closed their accounts and moved to other platforms ahead of the brand.
