Just when we get another Ad campaign that is truly hilarious, somebody complains, and the Ads may now go away.  That's what is likely to happen to the Rob Lowe DirecTV ads that throw a pretty good "jab" at cable television.  Comcast is trying to muscle the Council of Better Business Bureau's NAD, who is in turn trying to get DirecTV to pull the ads voluntarily.  The cable guys claim the ads contain false and misleading rhetoric.

Sticking to their guns and saying "no" to pulling the ads may have extended harmful consequences for DirecTV, so it's pretty likely that they will rollover.  I don't even subscribe but I love the campaign!  We could've been laughing at those ads for many more months, oh well.  Guess I'll go check for listening devices in my cheese...
