Scary movies are great no matter what time of year it is.  But I really love watching spooky flicks in October.  There's something about the cooler temps and warming up under a blanket that makes horror films so inviting.

We've been watching Halloween movies to gear up for the release of Halloween Ends (which premiered on Peacock last night) and it's been fun.  The original Halloween is one of my favorite horror films of all time.  But you want to know my absolute favorite horror film of all time?

A Nightmare on Elm Street!

There's nothing like watching Freddy torture those brats, Nancy & Lisa, Glenn and the gang.  Then there's Nancy's mom who was the true villain (or at least was to my 14-year-old self who watched her make her house into a prison to hold in her only offspring).
What's better than watching a great scary movie?  Watching it outside with friends!
