Mother and Daughter Injured in Front Yard Altercation
A Nebraska man is facing two felony charges after allegedly attacking a woman and her 7-year-old daughter with a metal and plastic Star Wars lightsaber. The incident occurred outside a home in Auburn, Nebraska, where 25-year-old Aidan Orion White reportedly struck the child as she played with other kids.

According to court documents, the girl was outside when White approached and hit her with the lightsaber. When her mother, 37-year-old Saundra Lunzmann, came outside to intervene, White allegedly shouted, “I’m not in the mood, get back in your [expletive] house,” before charging at her with the weapon.
Neighbors Witnessed the Attack
Two neighbors confirmed they saw White hit both the child and her mother with the lightsaber, which deputies described as a “higher-quality device” made of metal and thick plastic, measuring around 3.5 feet long. Authorities said the lightsaber could inflict “significant pain and injury.” Both victims reported feeling pain after being struck.
Deputies who responded to the scene took the lightsaber as evidence. A sheriff’s deputy noted visible signs of distress from both the mother and child following the incident.
Suspect Confessed, Blamed Rent Increase
During police questioning, White admitted to the assault, calling it “unacceptable behavior.” While he initially appeared cooperative, he reportedly had several angry outbursts, blaming the victims for a rent increase and issuing vague threats about future problems for the woman and her child.
White was arrested and charged with two felony counts of assault. He is currently being held on $50,000 bail. A judge has ordered a competency evaluation before his next scheduled court appearance on June 3.
